About

Hello! I’m Love Kumar, a dedicated Ecosystem scientist specializing in water resources and hydrology. Currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Soil, Water, and Ecosystem Science at the University of Florida, I am deeply committed to the sustainable management of water bodies and ecosystems.

My journey began in Pakistan, where I earned my Bachelor’s in Energy & Environment and my Master’s in Environmental Engineering. This foundational experience instilled in me a passion for understanding and solving the complex challenges associated with water quality and ecosystem health. My
work has taken me from assessing groundwater quality in Tharparkar to enhancing water conservation efforts in the textile and leather sectors of Pakistan. 

I have appropriate knowledge of laws related to EPA and international Environmental Rules and Regulations. Air and Water sampling, Quality control and compliance with NEQS & WHO standards with knowledge of latest Standards set by International bodies such as JICA, National Laws etc. using the latest tools and techniques for overall Environmental Management & Monitoring.

I’ve also been privileged to present my research findings at various national and international conferences, furthering discussions on environmental sustainability and integrated resource management. My academic endeavors are complemented by my role as a Graduate Research Assistant, where I not only conduct research but also share my knowledge by teaching courses related to soil and water conservation and watershed management.

Through my professional and academic experiences, I have developed a robust skill set in hydrological modeling, data analysis, and environmental software, tools that I leverage to provide actionable insights for environmental management and conservation practices.
